A man, who was walking in front of me, dropped a $20 bill on the street. I had a good chance to take that because there was no one else on the road and there was no way anyone could see me and suspect me for taking that.
But as usual, at the moment I realized that something fell from the man’s pocket, I said, “excuse me, you dropped something.” And then the man picked up his money, said, “Oh, thanks”, and carried on walking.
I did this and I would not do anything else on this type of case, because the person would come back and check for his stuffs. I know how sad it is to loose something. And I do not want to make this obvious by taking someone else’s things.
Just I thought that you would be happy to know; today I saw my classmate’s eraser underneath her bench just after she left the class a moment before me. I picked that up, called her and give the eraser to her.
